Michael J. Matteson

Michael MattesonMichael Matteson is the Director of Infrastructure Services for PAE Applied Technologies. In this role, he leads a portfolio of operation and maintenance projects across multiple federal customers including Army, Air Force, Navy, NASA, Department of Energy, NOAA, and the United States Postal Service.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Matteson served as a Program Manager on multiple NASA infrastructure contracts, providing facility operating services at Johnson Space Center and Stennis Space Center.

Mr. Matteson was the Shaw Project Manager for the FEMA Shelter in San Antonio, Texas. He served as Deputy General Manager and Engineering Director for KSL, a joint venture between KBR, Shaw, and LATA, that held the facilities contract at the Los Alamos National Lab in New Mexico.

Mr. Matteson started his facility operations career working for CSC at Edwards Air Force Flight Test Center where he served as the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department Manager of the Avionics Test and Integration Complex.

Mr. Matteson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is a Professional Mechanical Engineer licensed in Texas, New Mexico, and California, and a Project Management Professional.
